El Palmarcito features a short wave with a right-hand section and occasional lefts, breaking over a semi-rocky bottom. Under the right swell direction and tide conditions, the wave can reach excellent quality.

Playa K59

K59

This marvelous beach is a rocky point break with a right-hander that is very similar to El Zonte's right point, but slightly longer, offering a stunning view of a cliff split on the left side.

This powerful right is considered a surf paradise for both local and international surfers. Its consistency and speed, along with perfect lines that break along the point, can form tubular sections when conditions are ideal. It's definitely the perfect spot for advanced and professional surfers.

Like most points in El Salvador, km 59 works best with sufficient water, meaning when the tide is dropping (except for El Sunzal, which works with any tide). It works great until just past the halfway mark, after which the wave sections will be relatively short. Similarly, when the tide is rising with enough water, the wave begins to connect along the entire line to the inside.

Upon arrival, you'll find the access channel to enter the water, where the first section features a soft right-hand wave with a well-formed and steep line, making it ideal for beginners.

Further to the right, a larger, much faster wave section awaits, capable of connecting to a long, smooth right-hand line. At the farthest point on the right, you'll find the point break, offering a spectacular right-hand wave that runs along the rocky point. With the right conditions, this spot can form wide barrel sections.

The best conditions are typically during intermediate to high tides, as this beach is composed entirely of loose rocks, which requires careful timing for the best surf experience.
